Phnom Penh, 08 December 2021: The Ministry of Commerce and ABA Bank signed the Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) on the digital payments and knowledge-sharing partnership. Under the MoU, the Ministry of Commerce's CambodiaTrade.com e-marketplace will be integrated with PayWay, the online payment platform of ABA Bank, to help Cambodian small and medium enterprises (SMEs) bring their businesses online and accept cashless payments via ABA PAY in a convenient and secure way. The MoU also underlines the collaboration on knowledge-sharing and training for CambodiaTrade's registered SMEs.

The MoU was signed this morning at the Ministry of Commerce. The ceremony was presided by H.E. TEKRETH Kamrang, Secretary of State, Ministry of Commerce on behalf of H.E. PAN Sorasak, Minister of Commerce and Mr. Askhat Azhikhanov, Chief Executive Officer of ABA Bank.

"The signing of this MoU marks a special event in our cooperation with the private sector, in particular ABA Bank, to assist Cambodian SMEs to increase the economic opportunities by selling products to consumers and business partners with a highly reliable digital payment system," said H.E. TEKRETH Kamrang, Secretary of State of the Ministry of Commerce.

"This partnership allows us to offer SMEs the opportunity to digitalize and engage with their customers in eCommerce, accepting payments from their customers via ABA PAY easily and securely. ABA Bank will also work with the Ministry to extend digital financial literacy to the members of CambodiaTrade through training and capacity-building activities. We believe that this integration will help many local entrepreneurs to enhance their online sales by reaching out to ABA’s large customer base, while promoting financial inclusion and further digital transformation of the country," said Askhat Azhikhanov, CEO of ABA Bank.

The Ministry rolled out CambodiaTrade for SMEs pre-registration in mid-June 2021 by providing a fully integrated platform that allows them to reach a broader market in Cambodia and overseas, granting access to the growing global digital economy. Until December 2021, 75 SMEs have been approved with 450 product posts in CambodiaTrade.

CambodiaTrade marketplace is an essential component of the Go4eCAM project implemented under financial support from the Enhanced Integrated Framework (EIF). The marketplace becomes an initiative from the Ministry of Commerce to increase economic opportunities for local SMEs from participating in e-commerce and the digital economy.

ក្រសួងពាណិជ្ជកម្មបានដាក់ដំណើរការសាកល្បងផ្សារអេឡិចត្រូនិកខេមបូឌាត្រេដ សម្រាប់ការចុះឈ្មោះបឋមដោយសហគ្រាសធុនតូច និងមធ្យម នៅពាក់កណ្តាលខែមិថុនា ឆ្នាំ២០២១ ដោយផ្ដល់នូវការភ្ជាប់ប្រព័ន្ធពេញលេញ ដែលអនុញ្ញាតឲ្យមានការពង្រីកទីផ្សារកាន់តែទូលំទូលាយជាងមុនទាំងនៅក្នុងប្រទេសកម្ពុជា និងក្រៅប្រទេស នាំឲ្យពួកគេ​អាច​ចូល​ទៅកាន់សេដ្ឋកិច្ចឌីជីថលសកលដែលកំពុងរីកចម្រើន។ គិតមកដល់ខែធ្នូ ឆ្នាំ2021នេះសហគ្រាសធុនតូចនិងមធ្យមចំនួន75 ត្រូវបានអនុញ្ញាតឲ្យដាក់លក់ផលិតផលនៅលើផ្សារ ខេមបូឌាត្រេដ។

ផ្សារអេឡិចត្រូនិកខេមបូឌាត្រេដនេះ គឺជាផ្នែកមួយយ៉ាងសំខាន់របស់គម្រោងGo4eCAMដែលទទួលបានការគាំទ្រហិរញ្ញប្បទានពីកម្មវិធីពង្រឹងក្របខណ្ឌសមាហរណកម្មពាណិជ្ជកម្ម (EIF)។ផ្សារខេមបូឌាត្រេដនេះត្រូវបានផ្តួចផ្តើម​បង្កើតនិងគ្រប់គ្រងដោយរាជរដ្ឋាភិបាលកម្ពុជា តាមរយៈក្រសួងពាណិជ្ជកម្ម ដែលមានគោលបំណងបង្កើនឱកាសសេដ្ឋកិច្ចដល់សហគ្រាសធុនតូច និងមធ្យមដើម្បីចូលរួមក្នុងពាណិជ្ជកម្មតាមប្រព័ន្ធអេឡិចត្រូនិក និងសេដ្ឋកិច្ចឌីជីថល។ PayWay របស់ ABA គឺជាកម្មវិធីទូទាត់ពាណិជ្ជកម្មអេឡិចត្រូនិកដែលបានឈ្នះពានរង្វាន់ក្នុងការប្រើប្រាស់សម្រាប់ប្រមូលការទូទាត់ និងគ្រប់គ្រងការទូទាត់ដែលធ្វើតាមរយៈកាត Visa, Mastercard, UPIនិង ABA PAY។ ដោយត្រូវបានបង្កើតឡើងដើម្បីតម្រូវទៅតាមតម្រូវការអាជីវកម្មក្នុងស្រុក PayWay​ គឺជាកម្មវិធីទូទាត់ងាយស្រួលភ្ជាប់ មានសុវត្ថិភាព និងងាយស្រួលប្រើប្រាស់ ដែលជួយដល់សហគ្រាសនានាក្នុងការលក់ផលិតផល និងសេវាកម្មតាមអនឡាញ ឬនៅតាមហាង និងទូទាត់ប្រាក់ពីអតិថិជនបានភ្លាមៗ។
